This is what we support

Danish Composers’ Society supports composers and projects within new art music and sound art, including acoustic chamber music, orchestral music, electro-acoustic music, electronic music, music drama, sound art, improvised music, experimental jazz, church music, vocal music and new experimental music for and with children and youth.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY COME FROM?

The money comes from Koda's Cultural Funds. It is money from the artists' own copyrights that fund Koda's Cultural Funds. Every time music users pay a Danish crown to Koda for the right to use music, approx. 10 øre go back to the Danish music scene, which in this way helps to secure future earnings and musical diversity. The Danish Composers’ Society allocates the Cultural Funds in the field of art music.
