To apply for Komponistmidler (Composer funds) you must be a member of Koda. Composer funds support the composers' individual professional purposes within contemporary art music, soundart and related genres.
What can I apply for?
You can apply for: working grants, travel support, professional printing costs, composition related software and production related equipment, and mentoring programs. More about support objectives.
Requirements for the application
As for financial reasons it is not possible to meet all applications, it is important that your application is as complete, well-motivated and detailed as possible with a total budget as well as information about which other funds have been applied for so that the distribution council can make a fair prioritization.
Please note! To have your application processed the following requirements must be observed:
- Music example and CV is mandatory to all applications to the Composer Funds: CV max 1 page, 1-3 music examples (mp3 or mp4)
- Application max 1 page
- Budget set up with all expenditure and revenue (except for working grants)
All applications must bear the bank/sort code and account number, social security number and personal information.
A working grant is at least 20.000 DKK and can be obtained once a year.
When will I receive a response?
You can expect a response within two months after the application deadline.
